

Dr. Sara R. Dickie
Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Dickie has been practicing plastic surgery in the Chicago area for over 10 years. She is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and maintains active memberships and leadership roles in both national plastic surgery societies as well as the Illinois Society of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Dickie is opening her own independent practice in June 2022 in Morton Grove, Surgical Aesthetics + Reconstructive Arts.
Dr. Dickie grew up in Saugatuck, Michigan just across the lake from Chicago. She gained her Bachelor of Arts degree at Oberlin College in Ohio graduating with honors in biology and a minor in dance. She attended medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society for high scholastic achievement. She was also granted membership to the Arnold P. Gold Foundation’s Humanism Honor Society. This society recognizes medical students and professionals who place a high level of value in patient-centered care and promote humanistic values and behavior. These values continue to be a core concept in her delivery of honest, welcoming, patient-focused care with an easy-going and warm bedside manner.
Dr. Dickie completed plastic surgery training at the University of Chicago Medical Center in 2012. Upon completion of this 6-year residency she continued to train for one year under the directed mentorship of Dr. Bruce Bauer honing skills in pediatric plastic surgery, tissue expansion and complex soft tissue reconstruction for trauma, birthmarks and cancers.
Dr. Dickie has published multiple peer reviewed articles and book chapters about Plastic Surgery. She is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, American Association of Pediatric Plastic Surgeons, the Illinois Society of Plastic Surgery and the American Women Surgeons, as well she is a Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Dickie’s practice focuses on reconstructive surgery for all ages including infants and cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body. She strives to provide empathic care and to build lifelong relationships for those patients who may need multiple surgeries.

Brooks hails from the Indianapolis-area and was drawn to Chicago to pursue a career in the medical field. He is a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to client services. No question or task ever seems too difficult. He is an exquisitely kind and patient problem-solver.

My role is to facilitate treatment for patients directed to her care.
